Being slightly further away from the town centre, this car park is my choice as I've always managed to get a place, unlike the market car park which always seems full as I drive past.nIt's a short walk to the shops and the square.nThe only downside I've found is that on more than one occasion, none of the machines have been working in the car park, so I have reluctantly downloaded the app now.
Lovely to revisit Hitchin. We always use this carpark as within easy distance of town centre and can usually find a parking place here.
Had to get out of there because none of machines was able to take money. If you have cash, don't go there. Car park next to church had working ticket machines, so I stayed there.
Always a few spaces. Free in the evening if your going to Queen mother theatre
Please fix your machines, they are not taking money I was trying yesterday, its illegal not to accept cash in UK.
