Busy car park, handy location. Would be better to pay on return to prevent having to rush away from shops or coffee
It's a short stay carpark! Has a good view, handy for the market & St. Mary's church. Short on space on Saturday because it's very popular and the nearby Biggin Lane car park is closed because the market traders park their vans there. Can be closed in the evening if there's a special event like the Xmas Tractor run because it's full of tractors & stalls.
It's situated very close to the centre of the town, very easy to find. During the weekends can get full quickly but there are other car parks next to it Portmill East and Porymill West car parks.The centre is a few minutes walk, The British School Museum just 2-3 minutes walk. Behind the car park you'll find a market place, a nice little park and St Mary's Church. The parking price from morning till afternoon could be a little lower. Don't forget to display the ticket. It's clean and tidy.
Very good place to park at the moment. Not too busy.
Good access to market then town centre also easy pick up point for buses to either st Albans stevenage or Luton with good signs for time tables
Got a parking ticket after using the payment app. Even when I showed my evidence to the parking warden I got a shrug of shoulders. Technology is great, make sure it works North Herts Council, now I have to use my time appealing something that should have worked!!!
Best go on sunday as free parking. Should be free all the time
Busy but good car park near the pond
Far too expensive need cash I couldn't get on the app or phone doesn't give change £6 for 4 hrs and they want us to return to town centres
There is ample parking, even on the busiest market days at the weekend for bicycles. I mean, what's that all about, with those bike racks - not a bike in sight? No chance to park a motor though.
