Take our boys most Fridays after school. Great little library. A warm space has been set up with tea and coffee also if you require it.
Great service during the pandemic. I've just used the click and collect and had excellent prompt service. Just been provided with a great variety of hand -selected books for my kids to read. All I did was just tell them what things they liked. They are going to love them all! Thank you Woodseats library!
Visited for the 1st time properly on 20/4/18. It's a new place and I was pleasantly surprised having not visited a library in a while I tend to buy books if I want to read them. There seemed to be plenty of choice and not just of older titles. There are a numbr of computers for getting online if you need to and a decent number of seats to sit and browse your choices. There are also a small selection of graphic novels which I thought was a nice touch. Moving with the times and appealing to a wider audience. There also appear to be a range of different groups meet and sessions across the times the library is open.
The staff are so very helpful. They work really hard to provide such a brilliant service. The library itself is very clean, accessable and excellent for disabled people.
Staff are visibly scared stiff that these visitors to their isolated haven, are about to infect them with covid. So you must do track and trace scan on entry. Failing that you must give name and address. They insist everyone is masked up. Its getting a bit tedious now to say the least. Stop the ludicrous, fearful attitudes. Stop being so insistent upon masks and social distancing. Halt the quarantining of resurned books. They put a book in a box for 3 days , presumably to avoid catching covid??? I returned books in July only to find they hadn't been returned on the system. Their reply was your books are in quarantine. Words fael me.
A fabulous little library. Please visit and keep it as a service for the community!
A very noisy environment. A library suppose to be a quiet place. The one in the city centre and Green hill is better controlled.
Tried out the new library and admittedly I'm biased because...books! But it was quite nice and modern inside and all the new books.. I do like the old buildings with character, but also thought this modern new library was very nice to visit.
