Situated on the edge of Exmoor in the rural town of Dulverton, Woods Bar and Restaurant is a charming pub where we have a passion for fine food and wine. Inside a lovely open log fire and cosy interior, which is split-level with a popular bar at 5he top, offers a seat to the locals to chat and the restaurant, which is separated by rustic wooden partitions and delivers British cooking with a French influence. All dishes are created using quality west Country produce many of which from our own farm offering a choice of light lunches, bar snacks,to the full evening A la Carte menu. we pride ourselves on the extensive, award winning wine list where all are available by the glass. Advise on which wine to complement your meal is always on hand, where you will discover new wines, which will excite your taste buds!
Head chef Ed Heard creates an exciting and inspiring menu using many of our home produced products and his own original ideas. We are a unique dinning experience and hope you will want to visit us time and time again.
Before and after your meal you can settle down around the open log fire and enjoy a glass of your favourite tipple while enjoying friendly banter with the locals. We also have a small courtyard garden for sunnier days. Well-behaved dogs and children welcome.
