not crowded at all. so nice and quiet setup. loved the area. be careful while driving in country side from this place. roads are really narrow. there is a Morrison in 15 minutes drive. we found couple of big dead spiders in our caravan. hence 4*

This is a fantastic site for anyone looking to escape the rat race. Lovely clean well tended grounds in a very peaceful spot on the edge of the Tamar Vallley. The staff are all very friendly, and nothing seem to be too much trouble for them. The lack of a club house is easily the biggest selling point for us, but you won't miss out as there are lots of great eating and drink establishments near by to suit any taste or budget. Walk and Cycling are very well catered in the immediate area and the indoor pool on site is a very nice facility. If you are looking for a few thrills you are only a stones throw from the Tamar Trails Centre with Tree Surfing, Zip Wire, and more. Or if the weather doesn't allow this outdoor fun, then The Barn indoor climbing centre is a great place to get your adrenaline rush. Can't wait to make our yearly pilgrimage all the way from sunny Plymouth.

A little pricey, but a pleasant and well maintained site with nicely spaced out vans, great facilities and local food businesses visiting weekly, eg hot pork batch sellers. The staff are really friendly and helpful - they'll even bake croissants for you to pick up for your breakfast if you pre-book them. The location is rural and quiet too, but within easy travel of places such as Tavistock

Lovely site. Small and friendly. Love the entertainment they put on. Swimming pool and jacuzzi are my grandchildrens favourite thing!

Lovely place. Very quiet (even at Easter holidays with a full camp). Very idyllic and such beautiful scenery. 😍. Dartmoor national park is a must! As is brentor. And to climb the st Michael rock, 800 year old church as far as I'm aware!. Amazing views, well worth the steep incline! Also wrap up warm as very windy up there! Nice local places to go. Plenty of things to do plymouth Dartmoor etc etc . The horn of plenty is a must for very very nice views! Also a little on the pricey side but worth it for a little indulgence!. Didn't get round to using the facilities at woodovis like the pool sauna and jacuzzi. But all looked very nice and very clean! We stayed in the camping pod, not the super pod but however still enough space for 2 of you. Will deffo stay in a super pod next time for the added benefit of not having to blow up your air bed ( light headed and out of puff ) haha anyway all in all thankyou woodovis for a lovely stay! We will return :)
