Friendly pub,  good atmosphere,  TV,  snug, real fire,  food etc and a pokestop /Ingress! Always something on and we'll decked out at special occasions like Halloween or Xmas. Lovely owners, plenty of chat

Decent pub close to Townley Park and 15 min walk from Burnley football club. Good food and usually one or two real ales on handpump. Staff are helpful and friendly. Pub has a lot of the original fixtures and fittings.

Heard the Woodman were doing lunches so thought we would give it a try.
Glad we did, food is superb!  tried a pint of John Smiths, didn't know JS could taste so good !.
