Food excellent and served hot. The premises was not very busy midweek and they do stop serving at 9pm. They have a good menu choice and ample car parking. The staff are friendly and polite and will happily engage with a customer. I couldn't fault my visit and will use this premises again. Well done to all of your staff, I am a very satisfied customer.

Nice pub but food was poor. My son had a pasta suprise and only got 4 pieces of pasta. I had a prawn Pinter with only two salad leaves, my other half had hunters chicken which was dry and overcooked and my daughter had cottage pie as there was no Sunday dinners or gammon left. Waitress had no common sense as twice she tried to pass me hot plates over my new born son in his buggy. Then other customers sat at the table next to us with a dog. We went home still hungry very disappointing

Unless you're a bloke who loves just to hear the TV racing, don't bother, volume way too loud on the TV. Ordered the All day burger as the picture with the egg running down the side looked so tempting. supposed to come with lettuce, beef tomato, onion rings and black pudding croquette. Egg was so done there was almost no yellow to show on it, lettuce must have been the dregs of the bag as it was off colour and limp, only a few scrags on there, no beef tomato at all. Croquette was nice as were the onions rings, burger was okay, nothing to shout about. Daughter had plain chicken burger with again no beef tomato and scrags of same limp and out of date lettuce. Seats to sit on were so stained I had to check if it was wet or dry, really quite a disgusting pub don't waste your money unless you're a racing pundit. Just awful

Big boozer, lots of TV's decently priced beer and good atmosphere when the footballs on. Especially when all the dingles are silent after the mighty Aston villa thump them 4 - 1. Beautiful.

Great pub, it's always my first choice even though there are pubs closer to where I live. Highly recommend
