Just had the best steak pie I've ever had. So much meat and the pastry and gravy were outstanding Definitely worth the extra that it costs. Got the size 3 and it would comfortably feed 4 adults Hopefully I'll be back in the area next week for another
Lovely place for lunch. Seating for the cafe inside and outside and the farm shop is nice for a wander if waiting for a table. We tried the chorizo mac & cheese, true scotsman toastie and had a cappuccino and mocha. Quality and portion sizes were excellent!
Had my first haggis and LOVED it! This was the right place for a first haggis. I ordered the breakfast roll with haggis; my husband had some toast and raved about the bread which I got to try- yum!! The ambience is amazing, the latte 5/5 I’m picky about my coffee and the food is worth the price.
Nice coffee. We did buy some pastries and found that the bridies, sausage rolls were very greasy. The pies were great.
Charming place to have lunch nearby Doune Castle, however, it's a non-touristic place. We had the suggestion. I was reccomended beef steak baguette, which was delicious. It was the reason why we ate there. There is a shop inside where you can get some of the finest local products and liquors. I tried Loch Lomond beer. Nice can design
Stumbled across this little gem on thr way home from Scotland. It was busy inside but service was great and the waiters were so friendly and welcoming. Scones and apple slice were gorgeous and loose leaf tea was beautiful.Food: 5/5
Lovely cafe for a bite of lunch or a nice coffee. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There's also a lovely farm shop stocked with food and drinks as well as locally sourced gifts and crafts.Food: 5/5
lovely setting, clean and tidy shop, cafe, toilets etc. Staff attentive. Tomato pepper soup was a little bland, asked for NO bread but it arrived with bread such a waste as will only go in bin Not a lot of vegan or healthy choices on the menu but still happy to return. Bonnet cheese small segment nearly £7 which is really expensive when similar size/quality is available at Waitrose for £3.50.
Wonderful place. Food is lovely and staff are great. Bright and airy too with tables nicely spaced out and no terrible background music. Somewhere to definitely return to!Food: 4/5
Excellent spot. Lovely customer service. Very knowledgable about gluten free, and make their own delicious cakes and tray bakes. A very good selection of foods to purchase including some chutneys from the Isle of Arran. Open seven days a week until 5pm. A real find.
