The place looks great and the views are superb too. The staff were very pleasant, however we visited at a quiet time and there were four staff standing around chatting while it took around 20 minutes to serve two coffees and two scones. Only marked down to four due to the slow service.

Lovely atmosphere in the place. The range of high quality local produce is fantastic. The butcher is excellent and selection of meats are top of the range. Also you can request your own cuts from the joints available ( handy if you like your steaks thick) the cafe serves excellent high quality food and the views from it are stunning.

Delightful oasis between castles. (in between Doune and Stirling) Had a great lunch. Many healthy and fresh offerings on the menu. Our table ordered soups and salads, smoked fish and a sandwich and all were happy. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Plus a wonderful store offering everything from fresh bread to tartans and consumables. We stocked up on Smiddy nuts for our travel nibbles.

This is a lovely modern building with a contemporary interior. It's filled with very nice, but quite fancy food and gifts. You can still buy excellent basics like fruit and veg though; something for everyone here. I had lunch and it was delicious.
