This was just the best place to meet up with my family from opposite ends of the M1 and celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Amy reserved and decorated the room for us. The staff were so friendly and accommodating especially with my grandchildren. We chose Sunday lunch which was delicious and plentiful. Everyone had their choice of drinks including tea and coffee with the birthday cake. Can’t wait to visit again in the near future. Thank you Amy and the team.
A lovely traditional pub. We went for food at the last minute on Friday; the service was superb; very honest and very homely! The food was lovely. Nothing fancy as all the pub favourites, but very nice. Go for the chicken burger, with a plain chicken breast, a crispy chicken breast AND a slice of bacon, it has to be the best chicken burger I have ever tasted....took a while to get through though :. The staff were very friendly. If only I lived more locally I would definitely go there more often. Oh and the beer was VERY nice. If only I wasn't driving I would have loved to have tasted a few more Hobgoblins...maybe next time. Thank you to the Wooden Walls. Great pub.
This was the perfect place to stop. We choose the pub at random to break up our journey, and couldn't have chosen a better place... The landlady was the loveliest, and as the kitchen has just closed they suggest we order take away, gave us plates, cutlery, and beautiful kindness. Definitely recommend. Thank you!
The most friendliest managers that have ever been at that pub. They're fun, inclusive and massively thoughtful and respectful about hosting people of all ages. I love it there. I call it my local, even though I have another which is much closer to walk to. I'm looking forward to a few more visits over Christmas and there new year x
Had a fabulous Sunday roast here. I have generally avoided Sunday roasts as they are always a disappointment. However I had an amazing roast lamb dinner at the Wooden Walls. The lamb was cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. A good selection of fresh vegetables and blinding roast potatoes and Yorkie puds. The gravy was amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend.
Perfect, local, friendly village pub, and what makes it even better is that its our new local. we moved to Collingtree a few months ago and have been to the wooden walls a fair few times since, and love it. Especially the Sunday Roasts!
Just had a sirloin and the wife had Nacho's both spot on although we couldn't finish it all. Great food and very quick and friendly service. It's nice to see a old pub with lots of the original fittings.

We can't wait to come back and visit this lovely pub. We recently visited for drinks after not long moving to the area. We absolutely adored the family run friendly setup and heartfelt welcome we received. Drinks or food, you will not be disappointed.
