Amazing site with amazing views from pitches. We stayed on fully serviced pitch which are big even with a bigger van.Staff were very helpful and polite . Free WiFi works well.Showers and toilets clean and tidy.Nice bar that also does good food and a cocktail bar on site. Couple of miles from Bude and Sandy Mouth beach both are wonderful places to visit
Outstanding. We stayed here in our motorhome, well kept, clean site, wonderful views from our pitch, spotless shower block, great leisure facilities on site, pitch n putt, tennis, badminton, bars, takeaway but maintains a small family site feel. Our family stayed at one of the chalet houses while we camped, WOW, wonderful building and very homely for our weekend at Wooda farm. Our second visit, hopefully not our last.
We have stayed here for a week in October for the last 2 years and love it so much have booked for next year. We stayed in the 3 bed eco Lodge and it was immaculate as it doesn't allow dogs in that property which is a must for us. Sadly next year they are allowing dogs so have booked a different accommodation.
Fabulous place to stay. We had a weekend with friends in The Hartland Lodge. Well equiped and comfortable. Stunning views and loved the evenings by the log burner. Great customer service and would highly recommend a visit. My 2nd in a year.
Very helpfull staff helped me out when I had a flat battery Adam . The reception and bar staff very helpfull as well. A bit breezy as on a hill but we still enjoyed our break. Walkability: Plenty of walking trails and a short walk to Bude. Food & drinks: Food in the bar excellent.
We came here 14 years ago when our first child was 15months and it was lovely. We have returned 14 years later and it is now even better. We stayed in a static caravan on the front facing the sea, absolutely gorgeous to wake up everyday to the view. We painted pottery, used the on site shop and gift shop and restaurant, coffee shop and cocktail bar. There is a pixie trail and animals on site. It is a beautiful site. Dog-friendliness: It is a dog friendly site as long as they are on a lead
We stayed at wooda last week. The site was well maintained and offered plenty. It just didn't fit our family dynamic. We are a family of 4 and 2 dogs. Our kids aren't old enough for us to feel comfortable us being other side of the site whilst they play on a park but then getting to the park dogs can't go in so we had to sit under a tree whilst they played. Yes the pitches are big but we have a Peugeot boxer van so was left with little room. Luckily tho as we turned up the people next to us left so our kids could play on that empty pitch. The beach is 1.5km away but has no parking for a big van and the roads down were hilly and tight so this meant we didn't get to the beach. The pixie walk was nice and fun for the kids to find and we did do that a couple of times. We used the restaurant and take away service and all food was lovely. Also had coffee shop twice too which served nice coffee and cake. I don't think you will see us again as I say the site just didn't fit our family but that's not to say it won't fit others.
Just returned from our holiday, staying in Brambles cottage. The cottage was amazing, so very comfortable, spotlessly and we wanted for nothing. Our outside space was fabulous with lovely seating areas and plenty of grassy space too...many sunsets watched from the lawns. Site next door on hand as well. Bude was beautiful and beaches in walking distance at least one way :Two couples and it suited us perfectly, almost a wing for each couple.
This is our second visit here, it is a lovely site, large pitches with hedging for privacy, clean facilities. Lots of activities on site, lovely walks around the site including woodland trails and a large dog exercise field with great views. Bude is a lovely little town just a few minutes drive away with fantastic beaches and scenic walks.
Brilliant. Everything you need, including a shop up the top of site for any camping gear you've forgotten. Spa, cocktail bar, good facilities and for first time campers it was spot on. Felt so safe that the kids could wander around on their own safely which they loved. Will be going back next year.
