Do not order if you are vegetarian! Numerous times we have ordered vegetable spring rolls! And Numerous times we have received them with meat In! We express we are vegetarian, the first time it happened we gave the benefit of the doubt. Countless more times we have received meat in the spring rolls. Lucky we learnt from the first time and opened them to makesure they are vegetable. Countless times we have called to tell them! Tonight was amazing!! My order was Vegetable sweetcorn soup Salt and Peper tofu Egg fried rice VEGETABLE SPRING ROLLS this is expressed VEGETABLE A tub on green pepper black bean sauce little spicy 1 large chips 1 barm cake What I received: Sweet vegetable soup Salt and pepper tofu Egg fried rice Pork in blackbean sauce Fried rice 1 large chips 1 barm cake Spring rolls with a V on the packet I called to tell them that I ordered a tub of sauce not the extra meal. They came back out and brought the sauce. Usually I would open the spring rolls but because they had a V on them I thought it would be okay. Midd eating I decided to take a bite out of my spring roll... a chunk of pork hanging out of my mouth! It put me straight off my food! Called them to tell them about their mistake all they could say is "do you want to change them" I said "you shouldn't be asking that you should be saying sorry it won't happen again like the last 7 times you promised it won't happen again" The woman who was very condescending said "sorry it won't happen again" I am absolutely FURIOUS!! I have been a vegetarian for 7 years and it is only this Chinese that give meat spring rolls instead of vegetable spring rolls. 100% not using again! Sick of having to double check my order Vegetarian options: DO NOT ORDER VEGETARIAN ORDERS THEY SEND MEAT AND HAVE DONE NUMEROUS TIMES!! Dietary restrictions: Can't be vegetarian and order from here
Oh this place is lovely and great selection of dishes especially their offers of combo A or combo B. The chip are proper chips and not nasty skinny fries lol. We got the special in xo sauce which my other half really liked and had chow mein which was lovely. Prices are really reasonable and will definitely use again.
Food is always excellent, staff are friendly and it's great value. 10/10 would recommend
food always hot and tasty. Always busy. Had the larg Combo Salt & Pepper box B was delicious, just enough for two, but pot of curry sauce is quite small....get extra! Had sweet n sour on another occasion and was very little sauce. I was asking for more, but they wanted to charge £1.60 for a separate tub, when it should be more saucy!

I orderd a seaweed combo and received a portion of cold salt n pepper chips in a pizza box ?? I orderd special fried rice which wasn’t in the order I rang up to get my correct order and the wrong one given back. then when it came it was cold and I had bad food poisoning from it which left me and my mother verry poorly I will never order a pie let alone any warm ups from the day before. I rang to complane the next day only to be laughed at and ask to repeat my order and my address 4-5 times this is dangerously unhealthy !!
Fair and tasty large portions
We use this Chinese regularly for collection, so far all options we have tried have been really good and they have good vegetarian options for my partner. The salt and pepper chios are insane!
Gladly it far outshined it's, close by " English chippy ", competition In truth the food was not for me but for an unwell friend who insisted on this particular vendor. The reason for the solitary lost star was the minor language barrier between the, very pretty, server and I. My friend had not eaten for two days but consumed his- massive for £4 -meal in three smile accompanied sittings. I have eaten from Wokabout and was impressed, but a sick man is a much better critic.
