Had a really delicious take away from here yesterday. As a coeliac I haven't had a Chinese take away for years and this was just as I remembered. Loads of options and everything labelled as gluten free on the boxes which made me feel reassured. Will definitely order again!
Very Covid safe with extra precautions. My beef with mushrooms was amazing but mum's special fried rice was a bit disappointing. It was nicely cooked but but the bits of meat and prawns in it were not very substantial compared to other places we've tried.
I phoned up to order some food for a small get together we were having. The lady on the phone sorry, I didn’t catch her name was extremely friendly and helpful when it came to little changes I needed in each meal and she was more than happy to alter them for me sorry for being a pain, and label each dish up for me so we didn’t have to open each meal to see for ourselves, thankyou! The food was absolutely perfect. We live about four miles away from the shop and when the food got here there was still steam coming off the food when we opened it. I’ll definitely be calling again and I’ll be sure to recommend you to everyone who’s looking for the BEST Chinese takeaway in and around the Macclesfield area. Stay safe and see you again soon. Al.
That review by Julia is absolute twaddle. Our family have been using Woks Cooking for many years now, and have always received the highest quality, best tasting food made with care. My favorite is Singapore fired rice & crispy shredded beef.....Yum yum Roger
I’ve seen lots of advertising on Facebook for Wok’s Cooking. The photos of the meals looked so good I gave them a try. My first meal from them was absolutely delicious. I shall be ordering from them again. My opinion the best in Macclesfield
Very disappointed. Bland food. Salt and pepper chips soft and limp. Ribs were dry with a squeeze of sauce. The curry sauce was awful. There was no taste. Missing items from original order. Nearly £20 for a Chinese I ended up throwing away!! Won't be going again.
Was surprised to see such a high overall rating. Me and my partner purchased two meals. My sweet&sour pork was dry with very little meat and looked like ingredients were put together rather than cooked this way. Sauce on a side, meat in one big lump and veg on a side. Meat was not even covered in s&s sauce. Chewy to the point Ive hurt my jaw... Definatly not returning for more:
Always high quality food, large menu, delivery drivers are covid secure. I live in Tytherington and deliveries are super quick. My favourite takeaway in the Macclesfield area
By far the nicest Chinese I have had. All the food was delicious and no complaints whatsoever. Staff were really kind and welcoming. Overall really great experience and will certainly be going there again.
Chicken chow Mein chicken rubbery and the whole thing was dripping in oil no need just been rushed wasn’t nice atall and had no flavour? Salt and pepper chips nice not enough of them and veg spring rolls no flavour. £12 not cheap!
