Food nothing special - chips particularly bad (yes I know it's a curry house). Long wait for take-away (after arriving to collect at their stated collection time). I won't be going back

The only thing i could think of is the toilets, you have to go upstairs to them, and it is a bit cold.
Arrival and Ordering:
We had a table booked, and when we arrived, the staff came out and were very welcoming in showing us to our seats. The menu was already on the table, and within 5 or 10 mins, they took our drinks order and arrived back very promptly. They offer combination dishes, where you can have two smaller portions of different curries. I am always wary of ordering food i have not tried before in case i do not like it, and normally go for a Korma. The waiter spent time understanding what i liked about the Korma (the coconut, not the sweetness) and then recommended a second curry that he thought I would like. It then came to my Uncle, who really likes hot curries, the waiter recommended going off menu, explaining they did not offer very hot curries as standard as most people do not enjoy them. He suggested a few options, and in the end was quite happy for my Uncle to chose two dishes that were not on the menu, and would be made specially, as combination dishes, meaning he would only be having a very small amount of each. My brother was not sure which one to get either, and after discussing it with the waiter, went for a medium sour curry.
Food:
Poppadoms and dips were very nice, one of the nicer sets of dip i have had in a while.
When my brothers curry arrived, he did not like it, it was too spicy for him, and much sweeter than he had wanted. The waiter instantly offered to bring him another curry, making suggestions as to ones that would be ready sooner. Sure enough, he had a new curry with us within 5 minutes, which was very impressive and meant we were all still eating together.
As i mentioned earlier, this was one of the nicest Kormas i have had! It was lovely and creamy, but not too rich, and not too sweet, which is a common problem. For the second half of my combination, I had a Pasanda, it was creamy, and again not too rich and not sweet, and i really enjoyed it.
My uncle was very pleased with his hot curries, he had a hot jalfrazi, which was the less hot of the two, and very nice. And a Naga, which he had not encountered before, and he was very impressed with. It was really hot, but still very nice. We often go out for curry as a family, and some Indian Restaurants seem to take him asking which is the hottest of their curries as a challenge, and will make him something that is insanely hot, forgetting about taste and flavor, then pile out of the kitchen to watch him struggle to eat it. This was really not the case here, instead they tried to make a very hot curry, that he would still enjoy. My Uncle commented a few times how impressed he was with the actual flavor that came through with the heat. A few people had gone for vegetable curries, these were fantastic, with a huge amount of nice veg, including broad beans, chickpeas, cabbage - so not just the normal few bits of veg with mainly potato.
Bill and Service:
Although we were the last customers left, we were in no way rushed, or hurried, and were offered deserts and further drinks. The had been attentive but not overbearing all night. With the bad weather, we had wanted to get home before the roads closed, so opted not to try deserts. The bill arrived very promptly, and although it seems minor, came with actual after eight mints, as opposed to cheap variants which aren't so nice. Considering we had starters, mains, rice, naans and alcohol, i was very impressed this only worked out about £15-20pp. The takeaway menu is a little different to the eat in one, but it actually works out better value, as they do curries in medium or large, so if you want to share there is plenty, or if not you don't pay for more than you want.
Overall - Very happy! 10/10
