Had multiple meals here including breakfast, snack and lunch over a couple of weeks. The food is okay but nothing special, it's also not cheap but you won't leave hungry as the portions are big. The staff are hit and miss and I would agree with some other reviews that the younger staff are more friendly. Having said that the slightly older careful lady that served me breakfast was excellent even to the point of apologizing for the older gent who forgot my coffee.
We’ve eaten here four or five times now lunches and suppers, love the service and staff, like the space, particularly the outdoors which is fantastic for lunch with kids. Food is fairly basic pub grub, not a gastro pub! But everything else makes up for it.Food: 3/5
Best pub in Dublin ! On a Monday night listen to great Irish music as very talented musicians and singers meet up and ‘jam’ for pure enjoyment. If visiting Ireland get a taxi on a Monday night to the Wishing Well and have some food a few drinks and just sit back and enjoy the music
The greasy spoon. Ordered fish and chips was swimming in grease when we got the bill 3 packets if crisps added on that we didnt have. Wont be going there again.
A fine establishment. Nice and relaxing. Prices not bad,and service very good.

We had a lovely evening in the beer garden this evening . We were celebrating the life of our beautiful sister it was two years since she passed and the clan gathered to remember her . The food was excellent as was the service our young friendly server was second to none it’s not easy when it’s a large group but she did it very professionally . Most certainly I would recommend the Wishing Well as a go to place for any occasion.

Favourite local with food, great staff and beer garden.
Delicious. Neighborhood spot. The carvery lunch was scrumptious. The staff was extremely friendly even to non-regulars like us. Must return soon.
