Nice little shop and I'm sure very convenient to local villagers but the lady "serving" had no manners and just kept me waiting while continuing with shelf filling in full view of me waiting to pay. Absolutely fine if she'd just said be with you in a minute! I commented and she didn't say sorry, just shrugged her shoulders and said ok! Hope the villagers don't get that response, perhaps she knows whose custom she values but obviously not mine.

It's a very small village post office and store selling food like bread milk groceries. It is over 500 years old so a tiny low beamed cottage with very little room to move.

Used the post office for the first time last week and was greeted with a really nice friendly member of staff who made you feel welcome. Well stocked shop as well.

It's such a useful Post Office as village we are so lucky to have. Yes it's small but it's very well looked after.

The opening times on here are wrong. Have sent a request for it to be changed on this site.  The opening hours are: 9.30am to 1pm,  2pm to 5pm Monday - Friday. 9.30am to 12.30pm on Saturday. Closed on Sundays and Bank holidays.  Visit the facebook page: Willingdon Village Stores

Cute little corner shop that provides basic necessities and great service!
