I am disgusted by the bald man who waits and let’s everyone through the gate. After a long journey back from London Victoria my ticket would not work through the gate, snatched the ticket out my hand. A woman took pity on me and said he is rude to everyone at the station. I use this station everyday and have found many of the staff like the woman in the ticket place to be extremely helpful and polite! Appalled at his work ethic and behaviour! It really undermines the lovely staff to have one rude one here! ANGRY
Had a query with a weekly ticket and went to the ticket office in Polegate - the woman behind the counter couldn't have been more helpful. I think her name was Sandra. Fantastic employee!
Went in to buy ticket just now. Had to wait as the ticket lady was explaining various options to customer. She was so knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, and then sorted me out too. Subasna, five star employee
Ticket office is often closed. It was closed one weekday morning at 10am when everyone was trying to get a ticket out of town and only one machine was working. What made it worse was the rain which decreased the touchscreens sensitivity so it look longer to get my ticket hence delaying the people behind me getting their tickets.
Part of the car park at the station is privately owned and has no ticket machines, you can only call up to pay. I could not as I'm deaf, therefore I'm stung with 2 parking charge notices. Appealing now.
There’s a guy on the ticket barrier called mark who has one of the worst attitudes I have ever seen Only yesterday I watched him march over the passenger bridge go into the waiting room and practically abused a man about a ticket problem He’s a real nasty piece of work

The station itself is a nice little station that has great access. The staff are friendly and helpful. However the car park is very confusing and poorly sign posted. Numerous issues have arisen from this including multiple fines for various people.
As a railway station it is ok, clean, decent waiting rooms. Seating outside. Staff available. Ticket office often closed, but terminals to buy tickets at. Co-op opposite, parking at the rear.
Staff are rude and have the most horredious attitude when I showed a ticket she snatched it out my hand like she was a child and I was dangling a sweet in front of her face she then glared at me so I said that I wanted to keep it as I like to put where I travel in my memory box she then decided to rip it so I couldn't use it I commented on her attitude and she said she dose not have attitude it's her job
