Story

WIRED Cafe Bar aims to deliver a high-end artisan coffee experience with a prime focus on quality products, exceptional service and an interesting destination environment. We have sourced the best coffee we can find from Allpress in Shoreditch; this beautiful Redchurch espresso blend is then brewed lovingly on our gorgeous La Marzocco FB70. Home-made cakes and a limited but carefully defined savoury and sandwich menu is available daily alongside our fab tea selection from Jeeves and Jericho.

The integrity and authenticity of what we offer is key. WIRED Cafe Bar clearly positions itself as an independent, dedicated coffee bar targeted at the discerning consumer who expects the highest quality coffee in stylish surroundings. What differentiates us from all other businesses is our connection between product, environment, consumer engagement and overall customer experience.

I am new to coffee drinking and have been asking for recommendations of places to try coffee in Nottingham, Wired kept coming up. Having tried a couple of the usual chains and a few independent places I have to say that this is one of the best Espresso's I have tried. The food is also delicious, the New Yorker sandwich was packed full of Pastrami and its a nice atmosphere, modern interior, always busy and easy to see why. Due to the popularity I suspect they will be opening more branches soon but I hope they manage to replicate what they have done here without selling their soul! I like this place a lot and highly recommend it.

Is this the best coffee in Nottingham? Yes. But I going one further and saying this is best coffee I have had in the UK. Smooth flavour, the right temperature ( they don't boil the milk). Breakfast options are hearty and offer a good range. I went with the porridge and summer berries. Yum. A good range of slices and cakes. Not the usual fare I am happy to report. This is my "local" whilst I am here. Service friendly and professional.

A good atmosphere, friendly service and most importantly great coffee! I probably would have liked there to have been a wider choice of beans for the coffee, but that's just me. It is definitely worth visiting!

While a bit expensive, Wired is probably the best coffee shop I have been to in terms of coffee. I like coffee a lot and enjoy artisan coffee shops, so when I come back to Nottingham, this is when I feel home. The coffee is the smoothest I've drank. There's no hint of bitterness at all which usually I get from a flat white, but is perfect here. It's well worth the price for the coffee.
