Wings Buffet located at East India have a good and nice food.. Me and my family went there last week and we are all very happy. The food are fantastic and healthy. We paid after the eating.. because we are always went there and they knows us. According to them they have experienced before some customer never pay after eating..they just eat and run away so thats their policy to ask payment first. But if they knew you, they will not asking for the payment first before eating.. The service was good and the staff are very helpful.. i will go back to this place.. thanks.. see you!!!
I normally don't complain or even write reviews - but I was so disappointed in the dinner I just had today. A few years ago it was actually quite good but now the food has become so bad. The food was so dry as if they had just reheated the food from the morning or last night. I complained about it and one of the waitress asked the chef to cook a new batch. However, I was shocked to see that once the new batch came, one of the waiter put the old dry batch on top of the new ones !!! The food is way overpriced - as the previous reviewer said; you could easily have gone to Tesco nearby to buy a better meal for a whole family..In fact if you want a chinese meal try the other take aways nearby as they are much better and cheaper. Such a shame.
Why oh why did I not read the reviews first! The place is a health hazard...honestly! The noodles stunk to high heaven and the meat was rancid and rotten...not joking. It will be sent for analysis and I will be complaining to Towers Hamlets Food hygiene department as the food is not fit for human consumption. When I called to complain he asked me not to write a bad review and then I saw the other reviews and could not believe that I had ordered there. Avoid at all costs. You have been warned. Disgusting turd food! Any good reviews are fake!
Absolutely terrible place. Went here as we were as someone else has stated "desperate". Wow the food was soo poor. It was like it had been left out for days. The rice was like eating gravel. Was so appalled that I asked for some of my money back as I had just paid £42.50 for my wife and 2 kids. The guy behind the till said that he wouldn't and that the food was changed every 3 hrs and that he was willing to change any dish I wasn't happy with. So I asked him if I were to come again if I would need to try each dish to tell him that it was in fact horrible before he would provide anything that resembles some kind of customer service.....he gave me some kind of blank look. With out a doubt the worst place I have ever eaten in my life. Food was horrible and the customer service was non existing. I hope you are able to read this review before you make the mistake of choosing this place.
Firstly we were made to pay for our drink and dinner before we ate meaning that every time we wanted another drink we had to pay separately and the waitress did not know how to split the bill and nearly charged us more. The food- awful, extremely dry/stale dishes such as the dry and chewy duck and very dry prawns and I don't understand why a Chinese buffet is serving roast potatoes as a dish? The chow mein had cauliflower in it and the prawn crackers were chewy as if they had been sitting there for hours- I witnessed the waitress pour fresh ones over the old ones rather than changing them. When i was asked how the food was i was honest and just received 'ok' back- obviously they did not care as we had already paid which then made sense why they do so! The waitresses did not speak or understand enough English to serve us either which was quite frustrating when i was so disapointed with the food. Honestly do not bother with this place- i'm guessing it will be closed soon! Any good reviews on this place would be them or fake!!
I have been eating at Wing's Buffet for a long time and have seen many different faces working there everytime. However, I was so impressed with the quality of service I received during my recent visit that I am compelled to write this review as it is only a fair reflection of this long established and reputable business. The food was very tasty and when a tray was empty, it was quickly replaced with a fresh batch. The salt and chilli king prawn went like hot cakes! I would have agreed with the reviewer who wasnt too impressed with the interior decor but it is quite clear that Wing's have invested a lot in updating their decor to give the place a warm ambience. To sum up my eating experience at Wing's Buffet: Fantastic Food. Friendly Service. Fair Price.
Overpriced, no vegetables unless you count spring rolls!, re-heated dried up noodles, everything tasted the same. Floury cold fried chicken, not Chinese food at all. My taste-buds have been adulterated! Came home for some proper home cooking. If you want to take someone on a date with a sense of humour, bring them there. If not, avoid.
Wings buffet has gone down hill since about 3years ago the food has never been the same since new management had arrived the food tastes all the same and the selection is no way as good as before, its a shame i don't eat here no more + the prices before were great and reasonable now i wouldn't pay what they ask for the measly menu. It got to the point after the first plate me and my boyfriend left
I got introduced to Wing Buffet 10 years ago. Use to love it, and was repeat customer for years. Since I moved to south London there were another Wing Wah restaurant in Greenwich part of their franchise. Unfortunately it recently closed down. Really wanted good Chinesse buffet so came here all the way from Lewisham to be a little disappointed. Food was a lot better before and there was difficult to get a seat as it was very popular. Now... we were the only people here. Since they closed their Greenwich restaurant I have been looking for a good buffet to replace it and could not find it. It would be really sad if Wing Buffet Brand disappears. Hopping owners of last Wing Buffet will improve thei selection of the food, and keep the brand going for many years to come.
Like others reviewers stated, food is extremely stale. It is as if they cooked it in the morning and left it out all day. I paid extra due to it being Saturday. I wish I just spent that money on a real restaurant. You should not feel like crap after eating food but that is exactly what will happen after you eat at this place.
