A very nice place for Asian cuisine. It is in a very beautiful location. Good prices. I come in every once in a while to pick up a few supplies.
Wing Yip is Open to the public. Authentic Asian offerings great service a real experience. You can’t go to Ancoats without visiting Wing Yip
I love to come here to stock up on lots of spices, sauces, and lately, Tofu. It's great if you love to use spices/seasonings in your cooking, much more economical to buy large bags than the tiny glass jars in regular supermarkets at a hefty markup. You can get great deals on meats/fish and some of the more unusual ingredients pork bones, chicken feet, offal and the staff are always polite and helpful. Parking is good, but it can get very busy at the weekends. Hilarious photo because frankly I'm still very childish
Excellent place for Chinese Groceries Has all the ingredients you need to make Chinese Meals Big selection of Dim sums, bao buns, spring rolls, prawn toast, dumplings etc in Big freezers
Fresh, tasty genuine dim sum and traditional Chinese food. More pricey than I was anticipating but I guess most restaurants are increasing as well. The grocery store on ground floor was massive. Tons of items as well as a wholesale section. I was hoping for a bakery baos or deli/cooked food section BBQpork, but there is none.
They have the worse Parking services, they used to let you park 3 hours at the ground floor but now reduced to 90 mins and didn’t change the sign on wall. I was so sure that they have it on wall saying 3 hours 0 level and 4 hours 2&3 floor. I recently received their parking fine saying I parked over two hours but the sign wasn’t there?!?! I’ve also asked if the upper floor was busy but I need to park to dine in, and their staff told me to leave if there’s no parking? Honestly never go back again …
Chinese institution in Manchester, they stock all kinds of Asian produce, there's also fresh chicken, pork, beef, fish, and lots of frozen produce. There's specialist fruit and vegetables, herbs, Chinese herbal stuff, medicine, and commercial stuff for takeaways, and restaurants. There's two floors of parking, the glamorous restaurant is on the first floor. Prices are very good, generally much cheaper than the supermarkets in Chinatown. Recommended.

Iam From North yorkshire visiting Manchester quite often ,and always shop at Wing Yip . On 15 of July 2024 . Parking at Wing Yip car park and got a charge notice said that I was Parking within bays ,when I parked I had checked that my car wasn't out of the bay just touching a white line ,Cos there a car parked to close so I don't had enough room to get out , But they send me a charge notice with a pictures photos on it and a measurement showed that my car taken half of the other.Which i think it'snot right. Talk to members of Wing Yip staffs and they helpless.
