First time trying this Chinese takeaway was not even worth the money. The sweet and sour chicken was terrible full of balsamic vinegar and very very dark and no veg onions carrots sweet pepper. The special fried was full of shrimp shells. The chicken chow mein was made with dry bland chicken and over cooked noodles. The chicken/prawn balls was soaking in oil totally inedible. No I would not recommend spending money here as £70 for a family get together meal was so not worth it.
Me and my wife were looking for a good Chinese take out and we read the Google rating that this place is 4.5 out of 5. So we thought it was good. What gave us a bad experience was the fact that we ordered chicken chow mein but it was so bland even tho we told them several times we wanted a spicy. I wouldn't even give them 1 out of 5 as the chicken was old and chewy also the noodles tasted rubbery. It ruined our night for Chinese take out and will never order from them again.
Love this place great food amazing portions and make sure u have cash no card machine or just order and walk to the post office cash point across the road or the tesco one on the other side Food: 5/5
Been going her for about 15+ and hands down the best Chinese dishes I’ve tasted! I’ve gotten the same dish every time which is a testament to how consistent the restaurant is with its restaurant! I move to north london about 10 years ago and still travel down to get Chinese from here! Love it !!!!!!
My parents have been ordering from here since the mid 80s. We’ve since moved out of the area, but when I’m craving a good Chinese I make the 1hr round trip to Wing Wah. The food is always piping hot, flavoursome and I’m always greeted with a smile.
Food was good prices. I had sweet and sour pork Hong-Kong style and it was as if it had been made with 80% vinegar. Absolutely inedible! Also had the beef curry wich was very nice and enjoyed it! Good portion sizes.
Delicious and consistent with generous portions. A large rice can easily feed two people. Having survived 3-4 decades they are very popular and can be extremely busy sometimes.
Family run restaurant that doesn't have an idea of customer service. The food is reasonably good but the staff attitude are cold, especially members of the family who headed the reception and cashier. It's also pricey. I would rather go to my local Golden Dragon underneath the Bang Bang forecourt where we always get top-notch food and attentive service.
As always, the food is excellent value for money. Generous portions for my demanding appetite. Have been going there for many years and have never been let down by them. May they carry on trading for a long long time going ahead.
One of the best Chinese takeaways hands down. Very old school with no website, no card payment and no delivery option but the food is so good I just can't hold that against them. You're doing yourself a disservice if you don't try their black bean chicken! Be sure to phone ahead your order to save on waiting time.
