Parking in the area is a total nightmare. However the food is good. I have been a customer for over 30 years. There have been a fee changes. But the ribs are still very food...just smaller and less.Food: 5/5
I would strongly recommend this place to anyone, it’s a a small family run business that has been there for over 10 years. The shop looks a little run down but the staff are really polite and friendly. In my opinion the shop condition only adds to the charm. You are basically eating home made family food from China and it absolutely bangs. My suggestion would be the salt & chilli squid or the crispy pork special. Be advised: This is an old school pick up / cash only take out.
Not been there for a while and thought to get some special fried rice & ribs. Rice was super dry & ribs extra salty. Customer service was good though

Ordered for pick up, food was ready at the time given when we placed the order. Food was delicious and portions were generous. Ordered Roast Pork and Roast Chicken Box meal, Kung Pow Chicken and Seaweed. Complimentary Prawn Crackers are always a good sign of a good Chinese restaurant in my books. Will be ordering them here again.
Avoid this place at all cost, the worst chinese food I had ever tasted. The prawns were too salty, I didn't know the difference between the dry and non dry option, as the non dry kingprawn fried rice was as dry as winter. The stir fry chicken wings is tasteless and look like it has been prepared few days ago. Let me hint you on how to prepare Chinese meals, soy sauce and sesame oil, you need and other spice as I felt you only used black and pepper and salt to season the food,.
Polite & friendly family run business, after trying most local Chinese takeaways, this in my opinion is the best in the area. The dishes I've ordered always come freshly prepared, they look great & taste delicious.
Grab a chair and a cup of tea, it's going to be a long one! I thought I'd try this takeaway out, admittedly my usual one seems to have shut up shop and the next nearest had a wait time of an hour. First impressions when entering is it's really clean and bright. The gentleman took my order and said it would be about 30 mins wait give or take. I was ok with that as it was NYE and I wasn't really going anywhere! There wasn't too many people waiting but obviously the telephone orders were coming in thick and fast. Some people were a bit stroppy, and some were even cancelling. I thought, what's the point everywhere is the same and they're cooking as fast as they can. I ordered a box meal of roast duck and egg fried rice at £6.50 and other stuff for my brother and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. There was so much duck, it's the best I've ever had. And it seems they threw in some complimentary mini spring rolls with chilli sauce for the wait I guess and probably not complaining! They worked flat out last night and I think I'm going to make this my new takeaway, not too often though, I've got to keep up my diet into 2022. Decent chinese but the wait time can be outrageous. I recommend pre-ordering otherwise bring a blanket cause you're most likely gonna be sleeping over until your meal is ready.
The shop front has had a revamp so it looks nice a clean to visit. Same ole decent quality food the have been delivering for years, no changes there. Plus they're now on deliveroo.
