Not bad. The dim sum is decent but definitely not the best in London and not as good as, for example Royal China or Dumplings Legend, but I have no significant complaints about the food here. Service is typically indifferent as you might come to expect from these places, food arrives quickly and nice and hot. The noodle portions are generous which is great. Beware the long queues on Sunday lunch times!
This restaurant serves dim sum and being located within the Wing Yip wholesale market, it is very popular with shoppers. Have to be honest, while they serve decent dim sum around the area, their food sometimes is hit or miss. They do have wide selection of dim sum. Their menu has pictures of dim sum if you are not familiar with it and you place your order in a piece of a paper slip. Don’t expect service here though. They also do dinner and they serve roast duck here but really their dim sum at lunch is probably better known than anything else. Food is reasonably priced. Food 7/10, service 5/10, ambience 5/10, value for money 7/10.
Extremely fresh, good quality food served here! Brilliant when you are looking for a restaurant that caters to heavy meat eaters and also vegans! I really enjoyed the dish I had and the other people at dinner liked their meat dishes too.
We went Sunday noon time and there was a big queue, you need to ask for a ticket with number and wait for your table. While we were waiting we went shopping in wing Ip… around half an hour we got our table. Staffs working there were super efficient… they work super quick! Dim sum not too expensive but they will add service charge of 12.5%. We ordered around 13 dim sums and we need take out box at the end. Not bad with the taste and price. Will come again.
Always an amazing Dining Experience, even after uncountable visits to Wing Tai Chinese Restaurant, Unit 2, Wing Yip Business Centre, 395 Edgware Rd, London NW2 6LN from so many years! We always had enjoyed dining at Wing Tai Chinese Restaurant, London NW2 6LN since they established many years ago, and I must say, each time it’s an exceptionally great experience from start to finish. From the moment we walk in, we are usually greeted by friendly and attentive staff, incidentally by Mr. Ken Choong has attended us most of the times, who knows us very well by now from such a long time, and always taken good care by the General Manager, Mr. Ulid Cheng, and the Manager Mr. Long-Yew Chan who are always at the service and sometimes during the busy hours, they even pick up the dishes, all the Management, and staff are wonderful welcoming us with their welcoming smiles, no matter how busy the Restaurant is, they always make us feel welcome and comfortable. The décor of the restaurant has always been great, with a warm and inviting ambiance that set the tone for a fantastic Exotic Chinese dining experience, both during lunch hours and evening hours for dinner. Even the Men's Restroom has Air + Surface Sanitisation by STERILL which I've never seen in any other restaurant in London so far. Seeing this, I was amazed as to the care and safety protections they have in place The menu offers a huge variety of delicious options from Dim Sums sizzling dishes on hotplates, too, among so many other yummy dishes, that cater to all tastes and dietary requirements, and the presentation of each dish is always simply breath-taking. We mostly go there with family or friends, and most of the times as a couple with my wife, as we both love the food and excellent services, 2nd to none. Whenever its super busy, we could see everyone, including the Management, work at their dynamic speed to enable every client get an opportunity to dine in here. I shall highly recommend Wing Tai Chinese Restaurant, London NW2 6LN to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience of all types of Chinese Delicacies, especially steaming hot Dim Sums, right on the table still steaming hot. From the quality of the food and the attentive service, to the beautiful ambiance, every aspect of our visits had been simply excellent. Thank you for a truly unforgettable Chines Dining experience all the times.© Ash-Cash on Google and AshandKaren on TripAdvisor Vegetarian options: Huge variety of vegetarian specialities and options available Kid-friendliness: Very much Kids friendly, and family friendly, we always see mostly families and sometimes with young kids, too Parking: Ample Parking in the compound of Wing Yip Chinese Super Market and the surroundings of Wing Tai Restaurant
Authentic taste and very friendly and polite member of staff. Food taste quite tasty and serving hot and fresh. Spacious tea restaurant compared with what you seen as in China town. I personally enjoy the decorations inside of the restaurant because it reminds me of the good old Hongkong style restaurant that barely existed in Hk anymore. Anyway I hope my interview help you and wishing everyone enjoy your evening.
Lovely food. Nice staff. Set menu B. Duck with rice. Broccolis with garlic. Plenty of food for us 4 hungry gals! The bill came to about £30 per head. We will be back.
Lovely traditional dim sum set within a very traditional old school restaurant probably the same as it was back in the 60s when it opened. All dishes were well delivered and nicely proportioned. All very good quality and what particularly stood out here was the fried crispy squid for its freshness and portion generosity. Highly recommended to guarantee hitting that dim sum craving!
Tasty Cantonese food and authentic. One of my favourite go-to Chinese restaurants in London for dinner. Reasonable prices and service is ok.
Dim sum was not that great, I’ve had better, but the fried noodles with seafood was banging!
