Visiting family from England, there I was driving from another course and saw a sign that said ‘Windyhill Golf Club Visitors Welcome’ so with that, got back to my aunties house went online and booked for the next day! Bit sceptical as I turned up, no one there! But was soon greeted and welcomed by the regulars and shown the way and I have to say, what a wonderful course and it was in fantastic condition! Would definitely recommend and I will be coming back! Thank you for having me!
Golf course with great views. The course maintenance is good at this time but unfortunately no food service in the club.
Brilliant course. Played here off and on for about 25 years. Winter fees are cheaper and you can still play to normal greens depending on the weather. Summer golf here is just incredible. Brilliant views everywhere and the greenkeepers do a terrific job.
Played yesterday,course was in superb condition.Greens had been ironed and were really fast and true.The damage on 4 greens has 95 percent healed and now barely noticeable.A throughly enjoyable course with stunning views across Glasgow.
Course must have been designed for mountain goats. They would love grazing on the ankle high rough. Greens slow and around 5 of them had been scorched and rutted from the green keepers machinery. Extra star for the views.
Despite the heavy rain today Windyhill was in pristine condition and obtained rave reviews from our visitors, Bearsden GC. Looking forward to our Senior Open next Wednesday, when once again we can showcase the best Golf Course in and around Glasgow.
Lovely course a challenging one imo few hard shots with the ball above/below feet but loads of lovely holes and stunning views was lucky enough to witness a hole in one by my brother on the 10th so will always remember this course and will be back definetly ‍
they don't calling windyhills for nothing. beautiful golf course greens were a bit sandy but that is normal for this time of the year.will go back again.
Had reception after my mothers funeral. The staff were so lovely and buffet was really good.
A challenging course that will test your game. Quite a few beautiful holes with fantastic views of Glasgow and the surrounding area. A must play course for golfers of any handicap.
