Nice park, great for dog walking, cycling, running and just general walking. Went here today to do do windy nook parkrun and had a good time with the people I went with. Loads of space for people to walk round, just a shame it's in the middle of an estate so parking could be a bit of a nightmare. But all in all a good park to go to
its just a big part with beautiful views of the city... nice to get your doggo for a walk Playground: just an open land Dog-friendliness: yes open space
Somewhere I've been going for 40 years. Lots of memories, not all happy but it's been importantVisited onWeekday
A muddy and cold walk with my puppy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves even though we were cold and wet. Very disappointed that they are now building houses to the top of the site. I hope there are no plans to extend them further taking away more of our green space.
Wide open natural space at the highest point in gateshead, great views for miles around on a clear day. Very friendly people and dogs around.
Came here for Parkrun, a challenging route but very friendly and supportive people!
The levels of nature available to view in the nature park are among the finest in Western Europe. Otters, Lynx and Several species of Goat all wander freely in this safe haven. I even spotted David Attenborough doing a documentary the other day. It's a shame I can only award 5 stars to be honest it's closer to seven.
This place is ok its had a slow decline used to have gym equipment but after covid it’s gone . Only good for dog walking and people there for the first timeVisited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo

A very spacious area with lots of grass and a small car park. Is well maintained Nothing more to add really since it was just flat areas.
