£3.00 for a wafer thin tiny fish. Underneath the batter the fillet was 1cm thick at best. Officially the worst, tiniest fish I’ve ever been served in my life. A third of the size it should have been. Size of it compared to the fork, ridiculous. Sort it out Wilsons.

Freshly cooked fish and chips with mushy peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea. Our last chance before lockdown again and it was delicious, as always.
The man with bald head who works here was very rude as I only asked the women if they cook everything in beef dripping and she said sorry we don't and he was very rude and told her she didn't need to be sorry I just thought there is no need to be so rude will be putting a complaint in as I feel like he was being racist as I wear a hijab.
This place used to be so nice but it's gone down hill ,every time I go the food tastes worse then the last time i won't be going again

Old and tired looking place but the staff are lovely and they were very helpful and accomodating. The fish and chips was lovely and we can't wait to go back
