Bag Scam. Yesterday I ordered fish, chips, curry sauce and a teacake and asked to pay £10.50. Whilst waiting I worked out it should be £10.40. I asked the server what the cost was made up of and she repeated my order but I could see the receipt she was holding with a 10p bag charge on it. I didn't ask for a bag as I always take one with me, wasn't asked if I want one and wasn't told about it when I questioned the amount. The bags do look good quality paper ones but they should be open when charging for them. A side note, I could have got fish, chips, curry and teacake as a meal deal for £6.50 from Stockbridge Fisheries but it was late and they had ran out of fish.

The food is great and always comes really quickly. The staff are also super friendly. There were quite a few flies in the dining area which isn't ideal but can't really be helped, I know it's a problem everywhere at the moment The only big issue I had is that the table cloths were wrinkly, like they hadn't been ironed or even folded properly in a while.

The fish wasn't good today. The batter on it felt like it had been reheated. £17 odd quid wasted. You have just lost a customer
Stockbridge was recommended to us and we weren't disappointed. Very tasty and well cooked fish and chips served by friendly, smiley staff. Thank you.
I ordered fish and chips, the quality was superb, freshly cooked and piping hot the service was quick, staff very friendly. The only thing that let it down was the fact the table clothes needed a good iron.
Not the best food or service fish was ok . Portion was on smaller side.Chips had been mix with older batch of chips I wast expecting that for £7.95
