Couldn't praise this practice enough . Between ringing for myself and my elderly parents I've managed to get an appointment on the day every time . Reception staff are very polite and helpful. My elderly dad has something that he won't get better from but Dr. Gandhi explain things and reassured him and he came away feeling lots better, she really took a lot of time with him. We are so very grateful . And myself i saw Dr. Richards who also took his time and explained things well , going above and beyond in my opinion. My only negative would be there should be something in place for the elderly so they can still make appointments over the counter, I know for a fact that if my parents didn't have us to help out the ringing up process would completely stress them out and they probably wouldn't bother with the doctors at all . Doctor surgeries don't get a good reputation as a whole but I couldn't speak highly enough for this practise.Keep up the great work
I've been at this doctor's for nearly 20 years and I've got an appointment when I needed, the reception are always helpful and polite. The doctors show empathy and really care for their patients. It's a fantastic GP and extremely lucky have them.
First of all I’ve got to say the reception and team and the practice manager are lovely! But went downhill. Got too big and was taken over by associates, nurse practitioners and other staff. Was great with the old partner before he retired. No patient continuity and was met by a very dismissive unfriendly female GP who I won’t name on here. Disappointing that the quality of care went downhill and had to look elsewhere. Just a little feedback I think some of the GP staff need some informative sessions or training on complex chronic health conditions and also managing health anxiety as guess what that’s a REAL condition too. Validation and honesty is important and when that doesn’t happen it can really affect an individual. Whether or not you’re a professional, GP, member of the public or a receptionist. We are all human and deserve kindness, compassion and empathy, I didn’t experience this unfortunately With this practice. You never know how someone’s feeling so please remind the clinical staff to treat people how they would like to be treated. I have now moved practices and guess what it’s even worse! Suppose it sums up the NHS!
I had such a positive experience at Wilson Street Surgery. As a new Patince, the receptionist and doctors made me feel incredibly welcome. They were not only kind and friendly, but also took the time to listen to my concerns attentively. The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile and helped me navigate the process smoothly. The doctors were highly professional and provided clear explanations, ensuring I understood everything. Booking appointments was a breeze, thanks to their efficient system. The staff made sure to accommodate my schedule and find suitable time slots. I appreciated the convenience and ease of the whole process. Overall, Wilson Street Surgery exceeded my expectations. The warm and friendly atmosphere combined with the professionalism of the staff created a truly positive experience. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking exceptional healthcare. Thank you, Wilson Street Surgery, for making my visit such a pleasant one! Keep up the fantastic work!
Both Dr Gandhi and Dr Sarfaraz were fantastic! They both were very empathetic understood my issue and gave me both support and reassurance. Both responded very efficiently with much needed help for my condition. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Outstanding service.
I think the front line staff are excellent and all the doctors are brilliant. I've never had a bad experience. I order repeat prescription on line and I now make appointments on line too. It couldn't be easier. I've had call backs on time and I was even called the next day by a doctor after a routine blood test came back with a concern. If I could give a 5** review I would . I think the doctors work long hours and it's extremely stressful. Where would we be without them. I would personally like to say a massive thank you to all the doctors, nurses and front line staff for being there for us. It's a thankless job sometimes , we need to remind ourselves how lucky we are .
For the first time in years i finally found Dr Richards, that took the time to help with all my problems not just the one problem, he was quick but efficient, he recorded notes to him self so he wouldnt forget or miss anything, he was very thorough explained everything in detail, very polite. He prescribed everything that I needed. Look forward to meeting him again.
As a STR patient I was a little dubious of being taken over again but pleasantly surprised, called at 8 was 6th in the queue and managed to get both my children seen the same day. I’d heard great things about Dr Ghandhi so requested her and was greatly impressed - she listened, showed empathy and a referral was done on the spot!! Receptionists at both sites were also great - Can’t thank them all enough x
The surgery it's self is fine, but playing fastest finger first every morning, and get rid of that recorded message no one is calling the GP if the bleeding to death. Its there just to place another obstacle to getting through to the appointments line. Had to listen to that message 45 times today and 95 times yesterday didn't get appointment yesterday I will admit it is better than than it used to be but still a long way from a possative interaction.
Excellent Professional Doctor khaled Ghrayeb grabe ,Highly recommend professional Doctor. He understand you well and supports you really well. I saw him on St Thomas Surgery which is under Wilson Surgery now.
