Nestled in the foothills of the Pennines, we are positioned closely to the nature reserve of Blackmoorfoot Reservoir making us ideal for walkers and visitors to come and enjoy good food and drink in the warmth of our open fires or in our beautiful beer garden when the sun is shining taking in the outstanding views
We hold the Cask Marque for beer quality and were voted Camra Pub of the Season in 2009 and 2012 and also Camra Rural pub of the year 2013. The quality of the beer was confirmed when we were included in the Good Beer Guide 2011, 2012 and 2013. In the restaurant our team of chefs have been very successful in producing high quality, locally sourced, homemade food which is cooked on the premises.
