We were a party of 20 for a 90th birthday celebration. Staff were attentive and managed to get all hot food out at once one meal was forgotten but soon rectified. The only criticism was that they put us in the furthest part of the restaurant in a secluded corner which was a bit cramped for 20 and given it was for a 90 year old was a long way for him to walk. Excellent waitress and we enjoyed the experience overall.
Had to wait a long time for food, when it came the mixed grill came without chips you could see the space on the plate for them a salad came with dressing when asked for it without, my chicken was quite dry and after we ordered we were told they had run out of chicken dinners so had to reorder. Waited 15 minutes for a drink, ended up going to the bar to get it myself, ordered desserts 2 came then by the time those guests finished them the other 2 came out. It wasn’t overly busy so no idea why the long delays on everything. The staff member was very polite & friendly, it’s just a shame there were all the mistakes made with our order.
Very good produce, £9.50 and as much as you like. Unlimited everything, couldn't fault anything really. Even the waitress was warm and friendly when I walked in. Like most places though these days don't forget to register you car for the car park.
First visit to Willow Farm and all I can say is why has it taken me so long before I visited! Had a lovely time with friends from our school years, 54 years of friendship! We weren't rushed, service was welcoming and good. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a first class experience. Parking: Plenty of disabled spaces
Took a while to get a table even though the restaurant was nearly empty. Then waited at least 30 minutes for the waitress as they didn't bother telling her that they had sat us in her section. When she came to take our order, she offered us free desserts as we were kept waiting, the food was ok,but they used the dirty stalk end of the lettuce which was disgusting, shop bought coldslaw, which was OK, would have preferred home made
We were here for Christmas Day lunch and had the best time! Food was wonderful as always and the service was honestly second to none! Kelly and her team made our day so special and Gemma and Terry who were looking after us were fantastic! The kids got spoiled with pass the parcel and table games which was so funny! And nothing was to much trouble! Will be back next year xx
Just want to say a massive thank you for the staff here who held a wake for my grandparents at Willow Farm. Not only was it last minute, it was only a few days before Christmas too. We had a nightmare booking somewhere because of this but what a wonderful send off it was for my wonderful grandparents. The food was absolutely spot on, all of it was lovely and there was so much, we all had plenty to take home. The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly and welcoming and we could not fault them at all. Wish I could remember names but I can’t, the blonde lady who helped us to book everything and chose the food was spot on. The other blonde lady working the day of the wake too. An absolute credit to Whitbread. Thank you so much.
Food service atmosphere all great. Enjoyed our family Christmas day lunch. Would book again x worth the cost.Food: 5/5
Lovely food, reasonable prices, great atmosphere and the staff were fab. Terry P is a legend!! Will definitely be back
We went with the hole family and inlaws. I had the chicken wing 2 start fully loaded so nice cant wait 2 go back for them again then the mixed grill, the sticky toffee pud, The food was excellent and the waitress was so nice sorry didn't know her name just that she was training to be a paramedic she was so friendly and made our meal special. Kid-friendliness: There resident peacock was a winner with the hole family.
