We had a great lunch here and the food was great. Grabbed fresh baked goods on the way out and thoroughly enjoyed the town. The only downside in this place is the lack of seating, it is quite a small place and is on a busy corner, it can fill quite rapidly.
Comfortable, friendly staff. Had three lasagne with side salad, all delicious If a little heavy handed with salt but a bit cold in the middle. Still all devoured it though as it was so nice. Chickpea salad was great too. Will be back. Hopefully next time sugar free drinks might be available too.
Service was exceptionally slow. The two tables next to us that arrived after we did we're served full breakfasts before we received our cappuccinos. Half the breakfast order was finally delivered. Needed to go to the counter to have our bagel and toast made. Avoid this place.
Limited menu, small dining area. Is ideal to grab a pastry and coffee, but wouldn't recommend for a sit down meal. While they do provide high chairs I wouldn't suggest the restaurant to families better suited for one or two people to sit down for coffee or tea and a light sandwich.
This was a terrible experience unfortunately, one staff member was so rude. I ordered a soy latte and upon tasting it, it was too hot and tasted burnt. I politely asked the waitress to make it again because of this reason and her response to me was fine you’ll have to wait in a terse response. When she brought it back she nearly threw it onto the table without looking or acknowledging me and walked away. It was just so rude an unnecessary
Good coffee and desserts, pleasant view. The eggs for my eggs Benedict were over cooked. Everything else I have had here has been good, so I won't be holding that against them
Didn't have a great experience at Willoughby's on Sunday morning. Staff were very rushed, stressed and seemed very inexperienced. Could easily overhear them giving out about management and chefs. Food was of good quality which was a positive.
Had a wrap which was tasty, very fresh and was served with a lovely side salad. Also had the banoffee pie which did not taste of banana at all and tasted a little stale. The place was very busy so service was slow.
Highly disappointed and will avoid this place in the future. Completely ignored by the staff the entire time, after 15 min trying to get their attention I just walked up to the counter and did that for every single question I had. I wanted a quiche which comes with a choice of 2 salads. The "choice": There is only pasta salad left at 12 midday. As I don't like pasta salad I asked to replace the salads with a small bowl of soup. Not only was the soup much too salty and tasteless, next time I walked up to the counter I was told I will be charged the full price for the quiche combo AND the soup of the day! Very angry.
Feels like a cafe from another country. Lots of atmosphere tasty cakes and strong coffee. Sit in the window seats and you would think it was a big city. Out side its busy and in side its all relaxed and timeless.
