Social distancing in place during my visit. Food was good the 'substantial meal' and definitely filling. Service was excellent and pub seems to be well run.  Be aware the Blue Moon is on draft and not bottled so you'll get a standard pint if you order unknowingly instead of a half measure.

Nice place in the centre of everything. Good food. If you like people watching this is the place for you. We were in Brighton for 5 days and used this place every day.....

I have had Bangers and Mash in many pub's over the years but I have to say that I have had the best Bangers and Mash ever in the William the Fourth. Bar staff were fantastic and polite. I will now have my lunch in there when I am in town.

Nice pub, open and spacious so doesn't feel too crowded. Good place to go for a drink before dinner. Lovely decor and a nice pub to have a relaxing drink.

the service needs to improve definitely as we had to chase people to order a few times for the same order, numerous times for drinks and food
