To anyone planning to go to this hospital — I strongly advise against it!nThe doctors here are completely incompetent — they read everything from books and GPT. I’ve been waiting for three days for any kind of help. I’m stuck in the hospital, still waiting for a bed, and it doesn’t look like I’ll be getting one anytime soon.nnThe hospital is overcrowded — the corridors are full of people lying on hospital beds. There are far too few doctors for the number of patients. In the majors assessment unit, it takes about 4 hours just to get paracetamol!nnIn this hospital, you’re more likely to die before anyone helps you. In the technical department, I waited 5 hours just to have an IV cannula inserted, all while vomiting and fainting. In the end, Mr. Daniel, who was supposed to insert the IV, spent 10 minutes trying to get the needle in to take blood and place the cannula — he did it wrong, and they had to do it all over again.nnIt’s a total disaster. The doctors walk around looking like someone’s just ruined their day. No knowledge, not enough doctors, rude staff, and only one scanner for the entire hospital.nnWhat’s happening here is beyond words. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place unless you don’t care about your health or time and don’t mind being completely ignored even while you’re in pain. I’ve been sitting in a chair for three days now and still haven’t received a diagnosis.nnThe worst hospital I’ve ever seen.
I have just been discharged from Kennington Ward, via A&E,and I had excellent treatment throughout. However, I feel I should make special mention of an HCA on Kennington Ward .nHer name is Katie and she is an absolute Star . Most importantly she makes you feel important from the moment you arrive and nothing is too problematic for her.nThis is the type of person you need to nurture and develop.nIf you could bottle whatever it is that she has you would be on to a winner.
If your due to give birth or just found out your pregnant this is the absolute best hospital by far!nThe care, compassion and understanding we had from day 1 was absolutely on point right from the get go.nI never trust reviews on here so I thought ild right by own and give our opinion.nThe midwifes from the folkstone ward to the delivery ward couldn't of done a better job looking after my partner and my beautiful daughter.
I have today been treated in the Wm Harvey Hospital ENDOSCOPY WARD .nFom the time I arrived at reception to the time I was escorted back to the exit I was treated with kindness, politeness and professionalism.nI would guess five different nationalities dealt with me all with their individual charm and lovely accents. It was like being on holiday. Thank you Wm Harvey. Thank you NHS.nSo sorry Mr Farage but you don't get my vote.nI will be sending a material donation to the NHS Charities
I would like to thoroughly commend and thank the staff in A&E Major Assessments, women’s health, and the gynae surgeons for their help Saturday/Sunday. Everyone treated me with patience despite obviously being understaffed, and my illness was caught and treated quickly with antibiotics and an emergency surgery on Sunday morning. Yes, it was a long wait time, and I was there for almost 20 hours in total, but these doctors and nurses did everything they could with what they had and may have just saved my life. They showed me the utmost kindness during a time of deep stress and confusion, and reassured me and looked after me during my first ever general anaesthetic surgery. Thank you for what you do for the community and for laughing and smiling with me despite knowing I was scared
