A pale shadow compared to the previous Wilko's in Beeston. Four recent visits now have all been a waste of time. Two visits in 10 days and none of the small bottles of brake fluid. Yesterday's pointless venture was made to seek out a replacement phone socket front ( no stock ) and some other bits - I found the electrical section was a sea of empty slots, with no attempt made to cover up the lack of stock with other items- it just looked shoddy. UPDATE - Visited today ( 8 months later ) to buy a lght switch. Again the electrical section was half-empty - no light switches, no plug sockets, no phone sockets , v.little at all. Photo taken today. Nearest large DIY retailer is 4 miles away, yet Wilko's are persistently happy to lose trade. 5 mins walk from here is Hicklings - an old fashioned hardware shop. They're always busy & now my 1st port of call, with Sundays being an exception. Hicklings are always busy - go figure, Wilkos.

Very good bargain shop in the centre of Beeston Square, sorely missed by people when the tramworks were on.... !!!
