I am a fan of this chain ... I seriously believe they filled the gap left by the demise of Woolworths, in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis.

Good range of stock across a broad range of sectors including toiletries, cleaning products, gardening, stationery, kitchen, motoring, cycling, and soft furnishings.

Till service isn't the fastest, and there are often queues.  And they seem to be cutting back on staff numbers.  But these are minor gripes - it's a useful store for a lot of basic items, and exceptionally good value for money.

Wilko is awesome! Water filter jug for £5! 3 pack (170 Litres per filter) of water filters for £4! Literally 510 litres of filtered water for just £4.....and that's just one example of the bargains you will find here at Wilko. Love this store...they have everything from household goods to dog treats/toys and even snacks and treats to satisfy your belly as well! I'll be back FOR SURE!

Great sized store with lots of fabulous bargains from a various range of departments, such as household, toiletries, stationary, confectionery, electrical, etc, etc.

Staff seem happy to assist customers, and service was with a smile.
