First class pub opened in 2015, I think. It is sited in two railway arches underneath North Western station. The left arch has the bar and is much decorated with railway related memorabilia, and even shows live train departures from both North Western, and Wallgate stations. Great array of cask beers on sale; they often have beer festivals and tutored tastings. Always a friendly welcome and a good natured crowd. Highly recommended.

What a place. The beers are amazing and the bar staff have fantastic beer knowledge. It's no wonder they were CAMRA National Pub of the Year finalists. The manager Jo knows practically everything there is to know about beer and is more than happy to stop and have a chat and recommend beers to suit your taste. If you like beer and find yourself in Wigan it would be criminal to not visit here. Right underneath the railway arches so very easy to find. The pork pies and scotch eggs are the bees knees too!! Great railway themed decor and a fantastic atmosphere. Outside seating for the sunny days and dog friendly. It's my new second home.

What can I say about this place? Only 12 minutes away - 9 by train. Definitely my favourite place in Wigan. The selection of beers is always wide-ranging and all great, the staff are courteous, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Plus the extensive #beerlibrary is awesome. Last Tuesday in the month means Beer Club; tutored tastings of beers. Try it, you definitely won't regret it.

Outstanding place for after work cheer, and some really darn good craft beers, and not to mention the regular popular worldwide brands. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming, along with the local weekly patrons. Best place in Wigan to spend an evening with friends.

OMG this has got to be the best bar in town. Fabulous selection of beers. Amazing staff. Great interior. Always busy & packed at weekends.
