Second visit after visiting the Riverside Hub.nnService is great, good selection of ales and the atmosphere is very relaxed.nnHad their ultimate burger and it was one best burgers I've ever had.nnWould thoroughly recommend this pub for anyone in the area.
Lovely pub/restaurant and we thought we have seen all Northampton's places to eat .nnThe atmosphere was quiet and cosy, and although we haven't booked in advance, our host was extremely polite and welcoming he had to accommodate a table of ten- unannounced.nnThe food was very delicious and well presented.nDogs are also welcomed they sell dog treats, toonThere are plenty of car spacesnOutside terrace some areas are covered to protect from sun/rainnToilets are clean and well looked after, too.nnEveryone loved every single bite of their food! Overall, a pleasant lunch/dinner.nnDefinitely recommend it
A lovely local clasy pub/restaurant. Modern but relaxing. Has a nice atmosphere. Also has a lovely beer garden. A good car park too if your driving. Prices are okay for the good quality. Delicious food. The staff are fantastic also. Great service. Friendly.
Worse meal we have ever experienced.nnAfter a pleasant meal in March we decided to have a meal this Sunday eveningnnWe booked a table for four.n2 x White Bait startersn1 x Sirloin Steak Medium with chipsn1 x Sirloin Steak Medium Rare with Sweet potato friesn2 x Roast Turkey mealsn1 x Pint Estrellan1 x Bottle of Fleurie red winennNo complaints for thenEstrellanFluerie - winenWhite BaitnnSteaks -n1 came Medium/well incorrectn1 came Medium /rare on the incorrect plate - we noticed after pouring selected sauce and started to eatnBoth was pre-defrosted in boiling water - hence left them very rubbery.nnRoast Turkey Meals -nBoth delivered cold, gravy turning into jelly, potatoes and parsnips cold and hard - inedible.nnThe mains took quite a long while to be served, and when served we pointed out the issues as soon as we started to eat. The server acknowledge our complaint, apologised and advised that he would let the manager know.nnWe told the server we would eat what we could, as we had to wait quite some time for the meals to be served.nnWhen we finished eating what we could managed to eat both steak meals, Turkey meals we only could eat half of them, we asked for the bill, which was adjusted to meet our complaint - hence the medium score for service.nnMeal discount -n1 x steak meal - no chargen1 x Turkey meal - no chargen1 x Turkey meal - 40% offnnWill not eat there again.
Nice friendly atmosphere.nPopped in while my car was charging in their car park and had a lovely low alc beer. Lovely place to relax and spend time.
