Had a great evening meal here. Would definitely go here again but I live in SW London. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was great. Definitely recommend it.nI had a Katsu Curry which was very good. My son had a burger. He said that the Burger was probably the best he'd ever had. We both had a lemon pudding which was very good.nCompliments to the Chef.nThe Ale was good too.
First time visiting. This was a birthday meal. I was pleasantly surprised. We had some roast dinners, one chicken and one beef, the only thing missing on the roast was stuffing! Not sure why it isn’t included because who doesn’t like stuffing. Then we had cheesecake for dessert and it was deliciousnThe service was good and food came out hot and quick. Waited maybe 15 minutes.nnWe went there when they just opened at 12pm so car park was quiet, it is also quite small, even 10 cars is too cramped. When we left it was basically full so if you were to drive there because you live further than 10 mins drive and went between 2-5 you might not even be able to park up. Just something to consider!nnBut overall we did enjoy our meals and would recommend.
Came on a quiet Tuesday night for dinner. The pub itself is lovely, not as run down as people have made it sound. Staff was great, very attentive. Food was all very nice and fresh, had the Pie of the day which was steak and ale, lots of steak! The desserts all looked great too, but was too stuffed from the main food portions! to have one. Will be back.
Wow! This is our new favourite, sadly we live quite far away but we will certainly be returning as often as we can.nnThe food - is amazing! There's a fantastic range of meals and light bites available. The houmous is to die for and the roasts are insanely good.nnThe staff were really friendly and attentive, the service was speedy and there is a great choice of drinks too.nnWe were kid free on our visit, but both mentioned how impressed we were with the garden space and facilities for children, these are few and far between at pubs these days. There's plenty of seating and the atmosphere is wholesome.
Nice pub with lots of outdoor and indoor space. Service was polite and efficient. Food was nice but nothing extraordinary.
