A warning to shoppers. I received a 'parking fine' for £90 from Euro Car Parks claiming my car had overstayed in Wickes' car park. Their allegation was spurious and un-evidenced, their communications personally vindictive. Their claim was thrown out by the British Parking Association when I appealed. Despite being a long-time customer of this branch and having spent hundreds there, Wickes declined to assist me in any way and instead were happy for me to go through a stressful appeals process. Neither I nor anyone close to me will ever shop at any branch of Wickes again - actual or online.

Hi. We just visited Wickes in Uxbridge and it was the worst shop I have ever been in. The staff is so rude. We got a filler and the lock for the door. At the check out the price for a door.lock was different than what was on the shelf. My partner went back took a picture of the locks and the price assigned to them. Came back to the girl at the check out which told my partner to go back again and take the price label where the code is and she can put that trough the system, while 5 members of staff was standing in the talking about their 'skin tones'. This is not our job to get the price label. I believe your staff is getting paid to do that. At the end we've been told it's different product code and she can't put it trough as it's different lock. Fair enough but there's been another 20 locks there hanged under the wrong price! This is obviously someone's mistake. As I don't believe 20 locks would be picked up and placed on the wrong shelf by a customer as the lady at the check out said. Overall there was no hello when we approached the till. Lady was more interested in the conversation with other members of staff, and she has not even looked at us. When we paid for our shopping she turned around didn't say thank you or bye.

Don't bother with this store. You check their website and they say they have it in stock. You drive all the way there and, no they haven't got it in stock and the customer advisors who are meant to be there to help you can't be bothered to even have a look and shrug their shoulders and say 'oh well maybe they got stolen'. Yes, of course 132 got stolen and no one notices expect the customer apparently. Get better staff Wickes!

I've got a parking fine for buyng materials from their store, this is outrageous, never come back again.

The staff have very poor customer service skills and seem very indifferent about helping you when you ask for assistance.
