tucked away in the far west corner of the retail park, more trades orientated than the B&Q located on the same site. Rated against its own kind if not I would have rated is as ...."meh". Surprisingly (not) the TV ads convey what you can expect. Go for: insulation, plasterboard, cement, tile grout, power tools. Don't for: unusual plants, and arts and crafts

So lucky that I even gave one star I had a kitchen fitted 4 years ago happy with the kitchen .but have just realised as it was a sealed unit with decking that the pipe from my sink does not go to the drain correctly the only reason I have noticed is that the decking needed renewing and the builder showed me that it is running down the side off the drain and not into the drain so please anyone having kitchen fitted check everything as when I contacted wickes they just said it's within there 10 cm tolerance God know what damage it has done within the 4 years

Excellent range of kitchens and bathrooms with some helpful sales people on the first floor to help plan your kitchen. Good choice from budget to luxury. Good choice of DIY items at fair prices on the ground floor.

Bought a bath shower mixer tap, it was faulty, took it back (2 days later) to get a refund, instead all i got was a manufacturer phone number to contact to get it repaired. bearing in mind it was a wickes brand tap. They would not replace or give me a refund as it had "water run through it", how the hell you suppose to know if the tap is faulty if you don't have "water run through it" ??? Was told by the manager that i should have been told by the cashier at the point of sale that if the tap was installed they would not give refund or replace the tap, as it would be a manufacturer issue and they should deal with it, not wickes. First of all I was not told by the cashier of such term & conditions when I bought the tap Secondly asked the manager to show me wickes T&C regarding faulty items and all he could find on their site and store was "if an item is faulty within 30 days of purchase they would offer replacement or refund" even then he made up excuses not to honor their own T&C I can not wait for the manufacturer to repair the tap as i have no bath/shower tap, instead i'm going to buy another one from somewhere else and throw this into the bin, waste of time and money thanks to wickes.
