My boyfriend surprised me with the gift of a balloon ride for my birthday... And what a treat it was! We booked our trip via the website really easily with plenty of options for dates. We arrived at our take off destination to a very warm welcome and even though the weather wasn't great the team were really positive and confident that we would be able to take our flight. Great safety induction and very clear instructions reassuring us about the trip. When we got up in the balloon viability wasn't great (can't blame the weather on them!) however, I couldn't be happier now as what happened next was truly fantastic. Rather than cut the trip short we were taken above the clouds into glorious sunshine. One of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. The whole time feel safe and engaging with our pilot above stories of trips he has done and information about the balloon. Great experience, great pilot, great service from the guys on the ground and great video and pictures of our time up there. I couldn't recommend Wickers World any more! Get booked in... You will not be disappointed!

Unfortunately I've had the same experience as Paula. 8x I have had to rebook my flight and nearly a year and a half of waiting. I'm beginning to think its a con. I've experienced rude phone calls particularly when it came to extending my voucher which they promise to do. I may be requesting my money back but I feel like that will be a battle in itself. Look elsewhere people! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Some time on and still unable to fly. The staff are still rude and uncooperative on the phone. I am still extremely unhappy with this company after nearly two years of waiting to fly. We are currently discussing our situation with trading standards and citizens advice. I would strongly recommend reading the company's T&Cs before making a booking as they cover themselves cleverly. Don't waste your money -look elsewhere!

WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN GAVE A ONE STAR RATING ... Not a great service or experience indeed. WICKERS cancelled our flights on numerous occasions, staff are very argumentative when trying to get a point across but really do not want to entertain listening. Had weekday flight vouchers, but due to being a big party flying Wickers world allowed us to book on bank holiday and then cancelled. Again, when we went to book on another bank holiday they argued that our "flight" didn't include bank holidays so unable to work out why it was offered in the first place. Would definitely not recommend, and wish I had read the reviews first as it seems like a con company... don't understand how they can still be in operation when they don't listen to the customer needs. I'm flabbergasted! Managed to persevere and get a refund on the flights booked, also asked to have my number removed from the text service but it hadn't been done so have had to block them! ... Steer clear and go to a more reputable company to have a balloon flight. WICKERS - you should be ashamed!

We had a wonderful balloon trip with Wickers World Balloon Flights. The views were amazing and it was fascinating to see familiar countryside from a different perspective. We had to change the date of our original booking and the company were very accommodating about this and even extended our voucher expiry date. Jon was a great pilot and we felt completely at ease throughout the whole trip. I would thoroughly recommend this!

This trip was bought for me for my birthday. I had always wanted a balloon flight. I was not disappointed in anyway, this was everything I imagined and more. Jon and his crew made me feel very welcome and at ease. I had great fun. I didn't think it would be so hands on but helping with putting the balloon away afterwards just added to the experience. In fact I am already planning on which family members I can buy this gift for (I of cause will be joining them). Can't wait to do it again. A must for everyone!
