Nice clean shop helpful staff

My Wife and i visited this store to purchase some books. Unfortunately my wife is registered disabled, and we noticed that all the books were upstairs. We asked about a lift, but was told that there was none. Unfortunately due to the age of the building it was not possible to install one.  Small electric lifts are installed using the minimum amount of space. How can this store get away with this situation in this day and age.?   I did point out to the assistant that this shop was not disabled friendly.  I think due to the age group of people who would read books, this store should think again.

They still have the widest and most diverse selection of hard copy news and magazines in Rhyl. Upstairs, they have aisles of book bestsellers and some are on special offer. Their stationary supplies are high quality but expensive. WH Smiths also sell special occasion cards for birthdays, etc. You can find soft drinks , ice cream and delicious chocolate (slobber sound!) for when you want a treat. Print is going out of style a little, so I find it heartening that a well known store like WH Smiths- that I've known since childhood is still around
