Worst holiday place I've ever been!nnThe Caravan was great five stars for that but everything else was rubbish;nnThe staff is friendly but when you arrive at night It becomes a test on your mathematics skillnnThe caravans are in even and odd numbers and if you are lucky the caravan will have the number me and my dad spent 1 hour just to find my caravan.nnThe Caravans are outstanding so no criticism here folks.nnHowever for the entertainment part I went to the arcade and every game was in coins but the problem is the coin machine was broken! And I was questioning the staffs reluctantless to repair a simple coin machinennThe beach is alright but the annoying bit when you sleep is either the seagulls or the Petrifying sound of a Transport for Wales train passing by like a 6 rated seismic wave!
Well kept caravan park. Very large but that means it has lots of amenities like its own shop, chippy, launderette, bar and restaurant, entertainment, pool , soft play area etc. .The beach is only a short walk away and is a very long sandy beach. Parking is limited unless your caravan has its own allotted space. If not then there are a few car park areas dotted around but at busy periods you might have difficulty parking near your caravan.
Didn’t stay on site but we have a caravan up the road we went jaks for a drink and was greeted with some staff that would turn milk sour and Inwasn’t the only customer to notice this and this was before 6pm then my granddaughter did the activities outside which we watch a staff member with a face on her like a wet week no interaction with the kids what sonEver which was also seen by a customer.nNo customer service what so ever which needs looking into
This site has potential but some basic oversights let it down.nThe caravan was reasonably clean and we were in a platinum one in a quiet corner of the site plus the location is quiet but not far from lots of north Wales tourist areas and reasonably priced. Beds were made up on arrival too and the balcony and seating were a nice touch.nDownsides were the caravan lacked some basic things, not a single hook for coats or towels in the entire van and only mirrors in the main bedroom. The layout of the kitchen and bathrooms weren't great, not sure if the site had much say in that to be fair.nnDidn't use the site facilities but reception didn't open until after 10am and there was only one set of communal bins that were on the opposite side of the site to us, had a few minutes drive round to get to them.nnThere weren't enough parking spaces for the amount of vans, plus some were parking over 2 bays and reception had limited hours so no one to report it to.nnThe exit barrier had a swipe card access to get out, but this was 20 feet before the barrier with no sign telling you, first time we drove past and couldn't barrier to lift, another caravan user had to show us what to do. We then helped 4 more cars through the week in the same situation.nnThe welcome pack to the site was useless, a badly printed map that had been photocopied so many time it was no longer legible and a list of vague info that didn't even include basics like location of shop/ restaurant, menus opening times or any other details.nnThis site has a lot of potential but just isn't thought out, had a pleasant holiday but wouldn't come back to this particular site as it is.
Lovely site close to beach. Nice bar and great outdoor bar. Caravans are quite close to each other but not a problem. Small park soft play and arcade etc and use of golden gate. Wouldn't recommend the swimming pool on Golden Gate, you end up with 30 mins out of 45 mins what you paid for, £21 for 1 adult 2 kids which is good for 45 mins not 30. One tip go ready to swim and save time. All in all a hood stay we enjoyed it will return.
