Tried Sunday lunch. We had the beef which was nicely matured then cooked just off pink to well done . The veg was minimal but enough . I enjoyed the cauliflower cheese. The roast potatoes seemed to be deep fried albeit in goose fat a bit of a let down however all in all an enjoyable experience with good service. Expensive beer
Lovely old Inn with mix of new and traditional features. Two main levels plus restaurant. Enjoy.
Updated since we last stayed there six and a half years ago, but staff and service hasn't changed which was a breath of fresh air. Would recommend anyone going to Pickering, Yorkshire to check out and stay
We had 2 delicious seafood meals on Thursday evening served by Makita and her excellent friendly team and gladly she slipped us in on Friday for another very enjoyable meal. The desserts were also scrumptious. Thanks for making our first visit to the Yorkshire Moor so special.
Lovely old pub very friendly staff and the food was gorgeous
Fantastic food , welcoming to dogs and an open fire . Even with the Covid restrictions this pub always seems to be popular
Great rooms in a lovely place make sure you read the info folder in your room, it's a blast
