Regular Good Beer Guide entry, this Allgates owned house is a somewhat basic, even Spartan boozer. Opposite the parish church, it is two rooms, one with long bar. Friendly service, but I think it lacks some comfort and class. Good nonetheless as there are usually five cask beers on.
Great pub for Real Ales
Great pub with a great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
