Amazing little pub!!! Staff are friendly and always make you feel welcome,they can't do enough for you, cater to the regulars needs and wants, brilliant jukebox and an all round happy atmosphere

Regular Good Beer Guide entry, this Allgates owned house is a somewhat basic, even Spartan boozer. Opposite the parish church, it is two rooms, one with long bar. Friendly service, but I think it lacks some comfort and class. Good nonetheless as there are usually five cask beers on.
