Bowling Green Inn

Had the cheeseburger quesadillas and they were phenomenal! Very big portions tho could possibly offer 2 sizes ! Very busy pub had to wait for a table but that just shows how good it is! Drinks good price too.

Great father's day Sunday roast. Reasonable and delicious. Mushroom pepperpot was ab fab. The landlord is very friendly and great conversation.

We ate here on Friday it was my mums 80th birthday and they were fantastic allowing me to bring in a balloon for her early and put on her table and leave a cake to be brought out. They couldn’t have helped more. Very accommodating and so friendly and food was awesome as usual as was beer thank you guys

Food very good and well cooked. Excellent efficient service. I could only give 4 star rating because the selection of Ales was poor. "Real Ale" on handpump was not available!!

We went to the bowling green a week ago . With my daughter and her partner .we all had different meals but everyone was very happy with their meal .we will be going again today for sunday lunch . Will report again on this pub . we enjoyed it so much last week .

Enjoyed our lunch not a large menu but good pub grub l had Hunters chicken and I've got to say it was one of the nicest one I have had my friends had the braised steak and they Enjoyed it and not to pricey staff very friendly would recommend you book as not many tables if I'm in the area l would definitely make another visit
