Really nice country pub. The ambiance is really classy and provides a warm, comfortable and welcoming feeling. The staff is really friendly and the food is delicious! Offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It has a really nice outdoor party area as well. Ample parking available. Fair selection for vegetarian and vegan food!
Pub , has 3 areas, the pub building itself which is large and open and clean.Outside has a sufficient car park, with several tables on hard surface with staff allocated to attend to these tables, at the rear of the car park is a large grassed area fenced with tables and a small children's area,again this has staff to take orders and deliver to the table. 1st time here as thus is a dog friendly pub had a 2 course meal , only took photo of main course Sunday roast beef dinner. There are other choices.See pub menu The white horse has friendly efficient staff. They are closing for a week to have some work done. Well worth a visit,especially now we have the freedom to go out and about again.
Another lovely lunch at the White Horse followed by a delicious mini dessert + coffee - pictured - this is one of my favourite local pubs for dining, especially when the weather is good and we can sit outside. Great menu with plenty of choice, I had the chicken and pepper nourishing bowl which was really tasty. Plenty of outdoor seating, they welcome dogs and the staff were extremely attentive, as always. Highly recommend!
Came here for a roast with my family on Easter Sunday and it was absolutely incredible. The service was impeccable, they had everything on the menu and didn't run out of any meal options. Service was prompt, food was hot and perfect. Lilly-Anne was our server and she went over and beyond with the service and we were never waiting for anything. Would recommend a million percent and will go again and again. The Yorkshire puddings were the best I have ever had
Just fantastic, cannot praise the team here enough! Had two Christmas lunches, one group of 10 and one of 20 and everyone was just thrilled with the food and service. Thank you Laura and Carl to you and your team. Top notch chef, every course was outstanding! A little gem and we will definitely be returning soon. Happy Christmas to you all.
Laura and Carl are the most incredible hosts! With an amazing team of such attentive people. We had the best meal here last week and cannot wait to come back. The cocktails are to die for. Seriously seriously great place to go! Thank you!
Booked here for a Christmas meal with some colleagues after being highly recommended. We had a fantastic evening! The food was delicious and well portioned, the staff were wonderful and the pub itself is gorgeous. I will definitely be returning to try some non-Christmas fare :
Loved this pub. Service was excellent. Really nice staff. Not too long a wait even though pub was packed. Where very welcoming of the dog. Food was delicious. Wish it was nearer to my home town!
We feel so lucky to have the White Horse as our local. We have been twice this last week. Both times and infact every time we visit we have had a superb meal with the best service. A warm welcome in a lovely country pub awaits and we guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
The service, the staff, the atmosphere, the food and the drink are of the highest standard. Treat yourself to the very best in British pub experiences and visit this delightful place. Can't recommend it highly enough.
