Visited this cosy establishment for my company Christmas party! I say cosy because on the outside it looks rather small but it's a lot bigger inside than you can see! Staff here were very friendly and accommodating, drinks were fairly priced & the party food laid on for us was great, they had a dj spinning up & karaoke Was available for the drunkards that thought they could sing! The decor is very old with the thick black beams you'd expect & didn't realise till we were leaving they also had a completely separate function room! The only draw back I have with this pub is when a customer came in from the other end where the open log burning fire was, you get a waft of burning wood which I personally didn't mind.
