Beautifully preserved historic building. Lively friendly pub, but sadly lacking in the vegetarian meals selection; very poor choice for me so no longer visit. 1st December . . . popped in for quick, cheap lunch. Fish Friday so my husband had fish & chips - he loved it, and great value for money. I had choice of only 2 vegetarian mains, neither of which enthused me; what a very poor show for us non meat-eaters. We shall stick to the Red Lion in future.

Excellent meal, fast service, very reasonably priced, will definitely come again! The steak was superb, medium rare, DELICIOUS!!

stopped here for breakfast. speedy delivery of food. prices to be expected of wetherspoons. good portion sizes. only couple of slight faults found, cup still shown ruminates of red lipstick on rim, baked beans only lukewarm, but still good experience. will definitely return

I have been to Battesford Court on a number of occasions and I have always been impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. The menu is standard Wetherspoons therefore a wide variety to choose from. The food is always cooked well and presented well. Come to think of it I have had lunch in 3 different Wetherspoon pubs in just over a week. I think I am becoming addicted ☺☺
