Always a warm welcome from Matt and the Team. Our beautiful local pub is in the heart of Cheadle. Great kitchen team serving the best "pub grub" and "daily specials" all day. Seasonal menus and drink offers always available. Speed quiz every Wednesday. Outside seating and external TV for all are sunny weather.... Parking at rear of pub with your ticket refunded with your first round ;-) Disabled access and baby change facilities available.

We popped in at about 7pm on Friday evening and had the 2 meals for £15. I think it was the best pub grub I've had for years. Really good quality, simple traditional pub grub at a good price point. Good pint as well.Food: 5/5
First time I'd visited here the other day after living in the area for 5 years. The food was of very poor quality and quantity, there appeared to only be 2 serving staff on on a Saturday afternoon! and so service was really really slow. The atmosphere was flat, kids crying, dogs barking, obnoxiously loud large party next to us, overall a really negative first impression and experience and it's safe to say I will not be returning any time soon!
Attentive staff and a lovely old pub next to a beautiful church. Greene King stable of beers and seems popular with diners. Overall, nice.Service: 5/5
Has had many ups and downs over the years. Currently on the up. Usually 5 or 6 real ales with a CAMRA discount. 10%. Good balance between food and drinks. Traditional pub food served at a good price and good standard. Friendly staff. Hard to avoid TV sport for those who are not interested. Love Polly!

We had 2 sunday roasts, lamb and beef. It is incredible to have such well done dishes at such low price. The quality was good and the service was excellent. Very happy about it, we will definitely come back.
Great New Year's Eve meal. Chose from a prix fixe menu a couple of weeks ago, and we were not disappointed. I had the Christmas dinner, which was so delicious!Food: 5/5

Came for scran and a pint with my mates today food was 10/10 pint was 10/10 and Liam and his team were dead friendly and made the whole day even better. Definitely going to be coming back much more often. Best pub in Cheadle!!!Food: 5/5
